Now we live peacefully with the many visitors that come to our land. However, I will always hold a special place in my heart for John Smith, the man who saved my father and the one I love.

This blog and this role play does not mean, in any way shape or form, to mock the Native American culture. I understand there has been much dispute over the years, beginning when this movie was in theaters, over the historical inaccuracy and misrepresentation of the indigenous people of North America. However, I only mean to advocate the positive role model Pocahontas is as a character.
If I use any language incorrectly, please feel free to point it out. I’m beginning to learn more about Native American religions and culture, so I will do my best to tread lightly. I deeply respect the many native religions of all regions and hope, once again, that my posts and role play offend none.
